I’ve been a licensed amateur radio operator since 2003. I hold the callsign LA9PMA and have previously been active as MM/LA9PMA, SM6/LA9PMA, LA9PMA/P and LA9PMA/MM. I’m sporadically active from my home QTH on HF or simply ragchewing on 2m/70cm. At the home-QTH I have a multi-band dipole (tunable for 80, 40, 20, 17, 10 and 6m) as well as a X-510 clone (vertical 2m/70cm). The take-off is pretty good with a very low horizon towards NE-E-SE. In the shack I have a Kenwood TS-570D and a Yaesu FT-817. The 817 I have used for a lot of portable operation on HF, 2m SSB and also a few satellite contacts (AO-51). For operating mobile, I have a Yaesu FT-7800R in the car.
I’m a member of NRRL, ARRL and my local club with the callsign LA1T. Currently I have a huge backlog of QSL cards to process, but normally QSL is either via bureau or direct to Hermelinvn. 8, N-3124 Tønsberg, Norway.
